We spoke to general manager Beverly Johnson to learn more about the campground.
Motor Home News: How long has the resort been open and how was it started?
Beverly: It was originally a family-owned park. The current owner has owned it since 2004 and Horizon Outdoors Hospitality has managed it successfully and professionally since the owner bought it.
Motor Home News: What is your max capacity?
Beverly: 372 sites.
Motor Home News: What are some of the tourist hot spots near the resort?
Beverly: Sam’s Town Casino and Boulder Station Casino. We are only five miles east of The Strip, so it is conveniently located to anything anyone would want to see in Vegas. We are also a short distance from Boulder Dam.
Motor Home News: Does the resort offer any special amenities?
Beverly: We have three manicured dog parks, one of which is fenced into three sections for different-sized furry friends. We have a fitness room, as well as a pool table and a beautiful clubhouse with a large-screen TV. Guests love our beautiful pool, which is always sparkling clean.
Motor Home News: When do you think is the best time of year for our readers to plan a trip to Las Vegas?
Beverly: Anytime is always a good time to visit Vegas, but fall, winter and spring are the best [weather].
Motor Home News: Is there anything our readers should know before booking their stay?
Beverly: They will find that Las Vegas RV Resort is the cleanest RV resort they will ever visit. The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating anywhere. We are a 10/10/10 Good Sam-rated resort.
Motor Home News: What are your average rates?
Beverly: Daily Rates are $29-$55. We have XL sites that are 90 feet long. Our monthly rates are the best in the area. For monthly rates, please call the office at 866-846-5432.
